Senior Health Economist

We are seeking a health economist to join our team of modellers and statisticians. You will play a key role in programming cost-effectiveness and budget impact models that represent the value and economic consequences of new technology in healthcare.

If you have experience with building economic models, as well as a strong desire to work in a consulting environment to help clients find solutions to their problems, you just might be the person we are looking for!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, adapt and review cost-effectiveness and budget impact models
  • Analyse, interpret, report, and present qualitative and quantitative data
  • Work closely with a wide range of peers, project managers, and clinical experts


Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in health economics, with 1-3 years of experience
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (and VBA)
  • A qualification in statistics and/or knowledge of statistical packages (Stata, SAS, R) is a plus
  • Ability to approach loosely defined problems analytically and apply problem-solving skills logically and pragmatically
  • Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients, as well explain complex topics in simple terms
  • Good time management skills and the ability to handle a variety of work demands and deadlines
  • Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English; fluency in Dutch or French is a plus
